today was the first official working day of my fellowship. THANK THE LORD, because all i do is go to PT and go to the gym and i was starting to go a little crazy. now i have an awesomely long list of things to do/projects to begin. and i found out that i’m getting an office space separate from the TA office that the department TAs all share. color me excited!
i benched 5 reps of 65# for my final set today. BAM. so stoked.
my weight has gone up and ‘m trying to not spaz about it. i keep reminding myself that i need to gain weight because i need to gain muscle if i want to get stronger and eventually start running again. i’m not getting fat, i’m not getting fat, i’m not getting fat.
i want to start following some weight training/lifting blogs. anyone have suggestions?
i’m driving to louisville in a few hours to bring a friend to the airport. it’s about an hour and a half each way, and i’m oddly (not odd for me, but probably for others) excited. i love driving long distances by myself. music and coffee and the windows down – what more could a girl want??
