running before sunrise = running the slowest splits ever invented in my legs because i spent the first four miles simply trying valiantly not to faceplant.
doing squats and tricep dips (unassisted. boom.) as a superset is awesomely hard.
i gained three more pounds – since the first week of september – and i am displeased. and i am pissed because i am displeased. because homegirl still has zero period and nearly zero clothes that fit. i need to stop being salty and be okay with gaining my pre-op weight back in the near future.
i’m registering for the 2013 derby half marathon. it was the last race i ran before my surgery. it’s a flat course and i should be ready to go by then, and might even pull a sub-1:40:00 if i keep training well and don’t get injured (my time last year was 1:42:52, and that was with a torn meniscus and no ACL).
i need new running shoes, my tendonitis is getting ridiculous, even with powersteps in my shoes. but the brooks ravenna 3s got shit reviews, and i can’t find any ravenna 2s left lurking the web in my size.
